It's not even shocking any more that the Leftist-dominated media are trying to destroy America, and install a Euro-type socialist state. They barely try to hide it these days. Most people see that the tactics and rhetoric of today's Left is at total variance with everything America is founded on, and is simply an echo of Russian policy.

But still, understanding the depths that the Leftists stoop to in the pursuit of their goal is very important.

Incitement of mass murder. Encouraging atrocities like the Columbine massacre. Encouraging people to adopt perversions that seperate them from society. Attacking strategic American allies around the world so as to split them from the U.S. Encouraging narcotic use and trafficking. Attempting to demoralize the U.S military. Pushing perverted pornography. Encouraging anything that is an enemy to American Christian values, such as paganism and satanism. Attempting to block any anti-crime measures to generally increase disorder. And more(*). What began as mere twinkles in the KGB eye are now common weapons in the modern Leftist's arsenal against freedom.

This is a form of assymetrical warfare against America: the use of media to instruct and encourage a small percentage of vulnerable people to carry out violence against civilians, as a coordinated attack on American public morale.

^(*) And many more techniques that are perhaps less shocking, but equally important: Using gameshow "lightning rounds" in presidential debates to attempt to make democracy seem meaningless and trivial.

The well-known example: "Natural Born Killers"

On May 15, 1998, the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal ruled that in making the film "Natural Born Killers", director Oliver Stone's intent was to incite people to commit violent crimes. Time Warner, however, had much deeper pockets than the family of 35-year-old Patsy Ann Byers, who was shot in the throat by Sarah Edmondson, who along with Ben Darrus was obsessed with Stone's evil work. It was no match. Time Warner hired Walter E. Dellinger III, Solicitor General to Bill Clinton from 1996 to 1997, and after further appeals, justice naturally swung towards the big money.

 
 
Nevertheless, the earlier decision by the First Circuit Court of Appeal is a part of the record, and the court's opinion that the makers' intent was to incite the kind of violent crimes that were presented in the work (i.e. mass murder) cannot be removed.

But that is not the only incident that particular movie is known to have incited.

• Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold of the Columbine High School Massacre were fans of the film. They used the initials of the movie's title, "NBK," as a code for their mission: "I can’t wait till they die. I can taste the blood now - NBK" and "the holy April morning of NBK" are just a few examples.
   
• Seventeen-year old Nathan K. Martinez shot and killed his stepmother and half-sister while they slept at their home in Bluffdale, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City in October, 1994. He was obsessed with the film and had seen it dozens of times. He had shaved his head and wore the same style of round sunglasses that a character did in the film.
   
• Angus Wallen and Kara Winn, both 27 watched Natural Born Killers the night before murdering 22-year-old Brandon Murphy. They shot him, robbed him, and then set his body and apartment on fire in Jacksonville, Florida on Dec. 18, 2004. The crime closely resembles a scene in the movie.
   
• Charles Daniel Tuttle, 35 years old, murdered Cathy Harris 42, whom he was living with, with a claw hammer in her home and then robbed her house in Feb 1995. He was found guilty and executed in 1999. Tuttle had watched the movie three times the day before.
   
• On April 23, 2006 Jeremy Allan Steinke, 23 years old, and his then 12-year-old girlfriend, allegedly murdered her parents, Marc and Debra Richardson, as well as her 8-year-old brother, Jacob. Witnesses testified that Jeremy had watched the movie several times previous to the murders.
   

And so many more...

But that vile piece of work is far from the only incitement out there. Such "movies" work on the principal of statistics. Most people will not be effected by the subtle effects which are designed to produce compliance, but a certain small percentage of people, vulnerable people, will always be in the audience, especially if the advertising material for the film specifically targets such people. Those are the people who will carry out the commands to commit violence that are contained in the work. Such munitions are disguised as "art", and their practitioners as "artists", who hide behind the First Amendment to the Constitution.

"Natural Born Killers" was a very successful munition. Several states were reduced to tears and abject sadness for long periods of time - scars on the public psyche that are very difficult to heal. It is terrorism-by-proxy. Although instead of indocrinating vulnerable young people as in extreme Islam, advanced psychological techniques and statistical analysis are used, in such a way that the conditioner never even needs to meet the terrorist personally.

But what is a Leftist?

The common belief is that "liberal" is synonymous with "leftist", but it is important to understand that the Left employs "causes" to support it, to which people adhere out of misplaced moral identity. People have a deep yearning to be moral, and to be righteous, especially people whose culture stems from Christian beliefs. Each of the "causes" the Left employs offers an easy answer, a simple way to feel perfectly righteous and moral. The main one is "liberalism", but related avenues include "animal rights", "minorities", "homosexuals", and many others which have largely fallen out of fashion such as "unilateral disarmament". The best lies are backed by some truth, and such is always the case with these "movements".

Most people in such movements were originally recruited in their teens or early twenties, since it is particularly easy to convince people of that age of faux-righteous rubbish backed by simplistic quasi-religious arguments. A perspicacious arguer with all the facts can always rebuff their simplistic ideas. The lie is always obvious when there is a conflict of interest between their "movement", and the core Leftist goals of destroying America, etc. In the vast majority of cases, Leftist-supporting groups such as "women's rights" will never say anything about Islam, because Islam is in support of the wider Leftist agenda to destroy Western Christian society. The same goes for most of these movements. Recently however, we are occasionally seeing brushfires go off in the "homosexual" movement with regards Islam, due to the large number of people who wrongly believe that what they are supporting is what they are supporting. However, those brushfires seem to be dealt with in short order, and the basic Leftist agenda is continued.

An America based on original American principles is Mankind's last best hope for a non-totalitarian future. We can win against these vile leftist tactics, and we must win.
